problem is still there :
the 8615 printer is falling a sleep after some time and from then off not reachable anymore from the pc over the LAN .
you can only get it working by switching the printer off and again on .. strange

Hello
nothing is solved, the 8615 printer is still falling a sleep after some time , looks like dead from the pc seen .. and the only way to make it awake is to goto the printer and touch the touchpannel , in most cases i need to restart the printer : just do an - off button and boot again via the on button of the printer
then only the printer starts printing and becomes available for the pc over the LAN.
I wonder how we can make the printer awake over the network
as we are used to have in place for older models of printers, I am still dreaming of the good old days .. the time that printers were always available on the network. 😞
regards
ps: if somebody knows a technique to have a 8615 printer becoming awake over the LAN , let us know...

Still with the same problem here. I can ping the printer, I can even go to the internal web site inside the printer, but the printer is OFFLINE all the time. Now, even after a printer or laptop reboot.
HP use to be great, sadly, no more.
