I had already tried that, it didn't work. Ended up calling HP, sat on the phone for nearly TWO HOURS while some fellow in India tried to figure out what to pull up on his screen. He eventually did fix it remotely and then connected me to a supervisor who refunded the $25 (!) charge that I was supposed to pay for the privilege of sitting on the phone for two hours. The tech opened a chat screen but refused to allow me to use it -- which would have saved me two hours worth of minutes on my phone.
All in all this was outrageous for something that should have been fixed by an automatic download/install, or, better yet, never have happened in the first place.

After literally hours of phone calls to people in India working for HP, they took over my computer by remote control and "fixed" the problem. TWICE. It kept coming back. Finally I threw away the printer and bought a Brother, which (so far) works fine.
