I had trouble with ink rejection for some time with an older printer.  In the end I decided to try stopping the

updates on it.  Trouble over.  Never rejected an ink during this time.  Then prompted to urgently do an

update a couple years on I thought maybe I ought to.  Not long after, surprise surprise, it is again rejecting ink!!

Thank you so much !!! have just purchased second cartridge (this time brand new and in warranty !) and still received the same message regarding depleted ink supply !!!!

Tried your solution and worked first time, two layers of scotch masking tape !! was on the point of throwing the machine away ! to be fair it is an old machine and has been no trouble up until now, what a crazy thing to happen especially as the ink indicator on the pc shows a full cartridge !!!

Once again Thanks !!!!

Regards, Alan.

Thank you Joe!!!!

I didn't know that a little bit of masking tape would turn frustration and discouragement into amazement and joy!
