HP PSC 1210 All-in-One Printer
Microsoft Windows 11

Are there no "humans" at HP available to actually talk with?

My HP PSC 1210 All-In-One Printer/Scanner/Copier was operating fine with Windows 10. It prints, it scans, it makes copies.

It does not scan with Windows 11.

Is it compatible with Windows 11?

It prints okay.

It does not scan though.

The Troubleshoot Tool installs a Driver Version 6.1.7233.1 but there is still an error over at the Control Panel saying

The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28)

There are no compatible drivers for this device.

To find a driver for this device, click Update Driver.

Is there a newer driver for operating with Windows 11?

Scrolling through HP's Support sites gets me no where and doesn't resolve the issue.

Any assistance would be much appreciated. Thank you.

Thanks for the info but unfortunately, it did not work as per the attached screen capture I made after the installation.

Before doing this attempt, I was able to do a "Print Test Page" from the printer so I know the laptop sees the printer via the USB cable and I can get print outs but I can't make the Scan feature work. It was working before on a Windows 10 laptop but it won't work now on my Windows 11 laptop.

regards,
