Hello

I have a printer PhotoSmart D110 and O.S. Windows 8.1 (64 bits) , but when trying to scan the cartridge alignment page the following message appears: alignment page not detected.

I've reseted the printer (semi full reset) did not work.

        Can anyone help me please?

mas ao tentar digitalizar a página de alinhamento dos cartuchos aparece a seguinte mensagem: página de alinhamento não detectada

Hi Uoston,

Welcome to the HP Forums! Smiley Happy

I understand that you are getting the error, "alignment page not detected".

I would recommend going through this guide. An 'Alignment page not detected' or 'Alignment failed' Message Displays on the All-in-One.

Hope this helps, and have a great day. Smiley Happy

For your printer, HP Photosmart c4640. I would try this following guide. 'Alignment page not detected' or 'Alignment failed' Message Displays on the All-in-One.

Hi everyone, how's it going?

I just wanted to share with everyone the solution that worked for me to fix the alingment page not detected issue.

After the alignment page was printed, I put it in the scanner but with the printing facing the other direction (left or upside down if you will) pressed ok and then the alignment was succesful !! Finally after wasting a lot of paper and ink!

I noticed that the page has a series of black "dots" Three on top and two at the bottom, right?

On the picture showing how to place the paper on the scanner if you look closely, you can see that the two dots are actually on the right of the scanner window and the three dots are at the left of the scanner window. I just place it like that (upside down) and voila! Problem fixed! 🙂

Hope this helps anyone who is having the same issue and save you time, ink but above all.... a lot of FRUSTRATION!

I was so excited by your post, thinking that I was going to finally get a resolution to this matter.  Sadly, it didn't work for me.  Still nothing.

Hi, just wanted to check if you made sure to place the page "upside down". If so, it still needs to be aligned with the bottom right corner (as shown in the picture).

Hope that helps.
