HP Photosmart 5520 :
I exclusively use this machine in the Wifi mode, WITHOUT being connected to a PC or Mac.
In that set-up, how can I scan multiple pages into one pdf-file ?
I noticed that there was at least one solution that involved connecting the scanner to a PC,
accessing the scanner's properties and clicking a "+" button somewhere.
Will this solution "store" this setting on the scanner itself and allow henceforth for multipage into 1 pdf
also when not connected to the PC anymore?
Thanks heaps

Hi @PVC63,
Welcome to the HP Forums, I'd be happy to help you scan multiple pages to one PDF file. Are you using the HP Scan software to scan, or the Mac method via Print and Scan, Open scanner?
Either way, when you choose your file format PDF you should see something to select that says to save all pages as a single file. Depending on which scan method you are using the option may be available after you scan in the save dialog box, or prior to scanning in the scan dialog window. If you have any difficulty, please let me know which method you are using to scan and I will help you locate the option to scan multiple pages to one file.
If you find the option and my post has helped you, please click the Accept as Solution button below to help others find what worked for you. Thanks.

Thx for your reaction.
if possible i would like to be able to do this multipage-in-one-pdf just on the Scanner, without having to have it connected to the Mac.
second best solution would be to be able to make this possible by a one time action with the scanner connected to the Mac.
so, is there a way to do it without having to connect scanner and Mac?
or is a "once in a lifetime" connection scanner-Mac necessary
or is it something that should be respecified for each scanning session ?
thx in advance
