Product: HP Photosmart 7520
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.11 El Capitan

I have had this printer fo some time and have had no problem scanning to email before, today however i am receiving the following when trying to scan to email "unable to connect to Web Services".

 

I have tried all of the previous suggstions on this site changing the DNS, rebooting routers, switching off printer etc.

 

I have downloaded the update utility on my windows machine and this reports the printer is up to date.

 

Please can you advise what I need to do to get it working again.

Hi,

You need new firmware for it. Please download and install the following firmware:

   http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software13/printers/ps7520/PS_7520_R1607A.exe

 

Note: You may need to use a Windows computer to apply firmware because no equivalent version for iOS or you have to work out how to run exe file under iOS.
