I think the hp person has got bored with this thread. I asked several weeks ago for a solution & nobody has got back to me. I'm still having the same issue.

I called and after going through the motions (all the suggestions listed in this thread), they decided to send me a new printer.  Some serial numbers just can't be fixed and need to be replaced.  Mine was one of them.

I got through to page 11 hoping someone would have posted tha answer instead of the "Please check your inbox" stock reply.

 

Given the number of people having this issue surely this should be made public. 

 

This is somewhat pathetic though I guess it does help boost the numbers of 'satisfied' customers!

 

I've only had the 7520 a day and already find myself hacked ff.  This printer is going back tomorrow along with the extra cartridges and paper unless someone can tell me how to resolve the unable to start web services issue.

Returned this and replaced with Canon PIXMA MG7150 .

Setup in minutes and unbelievably quiet.

Prints are amazing too.
