Good evening. HP Scan software included in the software package "HP_LJ_Pro_MFP_M426-M427-PCL-6_Modern_Solution_16124" is not properly installed. I've tried many times uninstalling and reinstalling. Tips? Thank you.

Hi,

Thanks for using the HP Forums.

Can you try this:

HP Scan Extended

ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/scanners/HPScanExt/HPScanExt.msi

Once it's downloaded and installed, go to Start > All Programs > HP > HP Scan Extended > Run "HP Scan Extended"

Let us know if that works.

I downloaded HP SCAN EXTENDED and seems to work and installed. However, according to Scan Doctor 5.0, "on this computer does not have the complete software solution for the product ..." It is unusual that.

HI @Izio_1963

HP Scan Extended is a standalone scan module.

The full feature software may not have been installed correctly for a variety of reasons.

If it's ok to use scan extended, then just leave it. 🙂

Thanks.
