HP designjet 600
Microsoft Windows Server 2016

Hello.

I want to add the HP designjet 600 plotter to our Windows Printer Server 2016,
for this i need 64bit drivers. However, I can not find 64-bit drivers,
I did try the HP designjet 800 drivers, but these do not work properly.
Thank you for your support

Greetings form Germany.

Hi,

The HP Designjet 600 printer was supported on much older operating systems, Windows Server 2003 was the latest supported Server OS and Windows XP was the latest supported client OS version, the printer is not compatible with any later OS version.

No support was ever provided for any 64 bit OS.

Hi, thank you for the Reply.

I also read that, but we ran the printer on a Printer Server with Windows Server 2008R2.

So I thought there might be compatible drivers?

What are my options regarding this printer and Windows Server 2016?

Thank you again.

I suggest you try and test the HP universal print driver, I do believe there is 64bit version.

Check this archived topic out; it specifically notes a model 600:

and I have conveyed these sources for older designjet win 10 compatible drivers:

....I trust this one, however I think you have to disable win 10 driver signing (for both of those below, I think):

Also, I trust this site; I think they provide the same driver:
