HP ePrint app
iOS

I installed the HP ePrint app and tried to get to emails, but got the msg "Oops! Gmail requires an additional security step.

Please check your email security settings online".  However, there is nothing identified as "security seetings" in

gmail online.  I checked Google's forum and found my problem listed and "solved" by fixing its "2-step verification".

I could not find anything like this either.  Explicit help would be nice.

Hi,
Gmail have several security options which may block the app from connecting to their servers.

First open the following link and ensure you are logged on to the same account as you are setting for the app.
https://myaccount.google.com/

Within the Sign-in & security section click on Signing in to Google and ensure that "2-Step Verification" is set as "Off".

Within the left pane click on Connected apps & sites and ensure that "Access for less secure apps" is set as "ON", otherwise the verification will fail.

Once you are done check if you are now able to access your Gmail from teh HP ePrint app.

Regards,
Shlomi
