HP ENVY 4501
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Trying to print from Documents, but after hitting "print", a save window comes up. No printing was done. The window asks "How do you want to save your Scan?" What is the fix?

Thanks for your feedback.

It seems that your printer is not set as default.

Go to  PC -> control panel -> printer and devices -> right click on your printer and set as default printer.

or you can down load the Print and scan doctor from HP and run it. It will help to set the printer as default.

here is the link to down load the HP Print and scan doctor

Next time when you print, make your you choose the printer correctly.

Happy Printing

This printer is and has been my default printer. I rechecked, and the check mark is on the ENVY 4501 (I have no other printers). I am going to uninstall this software and reinstall it. Thanks anyway.
