I have this printer, it is a bluetooth printer. I set my windows tablet (NextBook)up to use it but I keep getting a printer error.
HP Officejet 100 Mobile Printer series - L411
I do not currently have the color cartride instaleld as I never do color printing. Will not having the color cartridge installed cause the printer to not work at all?
Funning thing is I can print from my phone to this printer just fine when using Print Share.

Hey @palladin888,
Welcome to the HP Support Forums!
I understand that you are having some issues with printing from your Officejet Mobile 100 Printer. I can help you with that.
To be able to print:
- If the printer is connected to your printer through a USB cable, remove it.
- Open Devices and Printers.
- Right-click on any icon of your printer listed.
- Click on Remove Device.
- Repeat for any other icons of your printer listed.
- In your search bar type in Services and open Component Services.
- Click on Services (Local) on the left.
- Right-click on Print Spooler on the right.
- Click on Stop.
- Open your C:\ drive, then Windows, System 32, Spool, and Printers.
- Delete everything in this folder.
- Return to the Component Services Window.
- Right-click on Print Spooler.
- Click on Start.
If you removed the USB cable, connect it. If not, return to the Devices and Printers window and click on Add Printer to add a print queue for your printer.
Please let me know the results after following the above. If you are able to print, please click on Accept Solution. If you appreciate my help, please click on the thumbs up icon. Both icons are below this post.

I am using bluetooth to connect to this printer.
As I said already I connect by bluetooth with my galaxy S5 using a third party app called Print Share. When using the phone with print share it works perfect.
when trying to use my tablet (NextBook) with windows 8.1 OS it will not print.
