Thank you for replying,
I appreciate your time and efforts,
I also understand and acknowledge the fact that this process of fixing the issue is tiresome, don't worry though, as I will walk by your side until we find a solution (that's a vow) 😉
That said, If you could provide a few details about whether or not you receive an error message or do you have trouble reinstalling the application would be extremely helpful, considering you've not replied to that request, yet.
Here's a related HP Forums post that seems to have helped others: Click here for the steps.
HP Printers - How to Print from iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch (Click here for all you need to know about printing from iPhone)
If the information I've provided was helpful,
give us some reinforcement by clicking the solution and kudos buttons,
that'll help us and others see that we've got the answers!
Good Luck.

Thank you for replying with this overwhelming and detailed response 😉
I appreciate your time and efforts,
Are you sure the iOS version supports this printer,
it's possible the reason it's not detected is because it doesn't support it:
The following Apple iOS devices, HP printers, connection types, and apps support printing with Apple AirPrint.
-
An Apple iPad, iPhone, or iPod touch that runs iOS 4.2 or later
iOS 4.2 or later can be installed as an update to a current or older iPad (all models), iPhone (3GS or later), and iPod touch (third generation or later), or should already be installed on a new Apple iOS device.
-
An HP wireless printer that supports AirPrint
HP wireless printers released in 2010 and later support AirPrint. AirPrint is not backward compatible with older printers. For a list of HP printers that are compatible with AirPrint, go to Mobile Printing Solutions Compatible with HP Printers.
-
A private wireless network
Your iOS device (iPad, iPhone, or iPod touch) and printer must be connected to the same private 802.11 wireless network. AirPrint uses Bonjour, Apple's zero-configuration networking, to automatically discover your wireless printer over the local network.
-
Apps that support AirPrint
Many Apple apps support AirPrint, including Safari, Mail, Photos, and iWorks. Additionally, other popular apps available in the App Store are supported. If Print is not an available option, you cannot print from that particular app at this time.
NOTE:
Some apps might not offer a print option because they do not currently support AirPrint. If Print is not an available option, you cannot print from that particular app at this time.
If the printer isn't supported via Air print, HP offers several free mobile printing apps through the App Store that work with most HP wireless printers and Apple iOS devices. Review the table below for differences between available printing apps and services:
Go to Using HP ePrint for the steps to set up and use HP ePrint.
Go to Using the HP ePrint App for more detailed information.
Go to Print and Scan from Mobile Devices with HP AiO Remote for more detailed information.
Look for the HP wireless direct logo or icon on the printer. If present, go to Printing With HP Wireless Direct for more information.
Look for a Wi-Fi Direct logo or icon on the printer. If present, go to Printing With Wi-Fi Direct for more information.
If I have helped you resolve the issue, feel free to give me a virtual high-five by clicking the 'Thumbs Up' icon below,
Followed by clicking on "Accept as solution" from the drop-down menu on the upper right corner,
Thank you for posting in the HP Support Forum. Have a great day!
