Installed a new HP Laserjet100 MFP M175nw on our office network.  I'm running Windows 7, 32-bit.  Error message "HPUTSCH has stopped running" keeps popping up.  Options are Check online for solution or Close the program.  Why is this happening and what should I do?

Hello dig1948,

Thanks for the post.  With this one, I might first suggest running the first utility below.  That will give you some insight on what may be occurring.  Then remove and re-install with the latest driver.  I did notice the Fix/Enhancement below on the driver download page for Win 7/32  "LJ services stopped working".  May be related.  There is also a fairly recent firmware update.  Good Luck!

Fix/Enhancement:

Jobs stuck in print queue, poor print quality related to paper type, fixes the error "LJ services stopped working"

The HP Task Scheduler is not working for some reason. Here is a workaround. Go to the Control Panel and search for Schedule. This should launch Administrative tools\Schedule Tasks. On the left side, click on Task Scheduler Library. You should see a list of the tasks scheduled. Look for HPCustPartic or HPLJUT or any other HP name and right click it and choose disable

Hope this fixes the issue.

What is this HPUTSCH? It is causing all sorts of problems on my desktop PC; slow running, lockups etc.

Help!

Using Microsoft XP; have HP LaserJet CP1525 printer. Desktop PC has been running slow; Microsoft Error Message pops up, sometimes  12 or more errors. Error shows as : HPUTSCH Application E, details are: P. hpljutsch.exe and apparently this is the cause of slow access.

Any suggestions as to how to get rid of these errors?

Chris
