HP Laserjet Pro P1100w, 6.9
macOS 10.12 Sierra

I recently purchased an HP Laserjet Pro P1100w, 6.9. As I was setting it up, I didn't have any problems, but when I got to adding the printer to my wireless network, I started encountering extreme frustrations. Everytime I go to Utilities and try to open HTML Config to add my printer to the network, it shuts the window down. There is no error message, it simply doesn't open or do anything at all. I spent over an hour troubleshooting online and still haven't gotten the Config to open. The ENTIRE reason I bought this printer was so I could wirelessly print and I can't set it up. Please help!

Hi,

Try restarting your Mac and see if the HTML Config utility may than opens.

Additionally ensure Safari is set as your default browser, for my experience it will not open if another browser such as Chrome or Firefox may set a default:

May you see any change?

Safari is already set as my default browser and restarting the computer did not help.

Is there not anything else I can try? I can't believe the only troubleshooting I can do is restarting my computer.
