I recently bought an Office Jet 6500A all in one. Is there a way to configure a scanner shortcut to send the scan directly to Evernote? With my old Canon scanner I could specify the application as well as the destination for different scans, but with this HP I can only see a way to specify the destination folder.
Thanks!

Hi,
You'll find a link here to a post with an approch to scanning directly to Evernote.

Evernote can be set to import files from "watched" folders, so I set up a shortcut on the scanner function of my HP 6500 with the destination folder "Evernote scans". Then I told Evernote to "Import" that folder (under the Tools menu) and bada-boom, bada-bing: anything I scan to that folder goes directly to Evernote.

Hi,
That sounds like a very effiecent process and one worth sharing with others.
