I use the touch panel exclusively to scan documents. It's annoying to cycle through a series of unused icons to reach the scan icon every time I turn around. How do I rearrange icons so the "Scan" icon is on the main home screen (on an iPhone you would just hold it down until it's mobile, but that doesn't work here).
You can customize the selection and order of icons within the Apps folder, but I can't figure out how to move the other icons. Come on HP, your unintuitive user interface needs some attention 😞
Thanks!

I am a little confused on this reply...
The help documents state:
For printers that support managing apps from this site, to remove, re-order, or set up print apps, log into your account on ePrintCenter, then go to the My Print Apps section of the Printers tab. You can place your mouse over an app icon to display the “Remove” option, click and drag apps to re-order them on your device, or click on the “Setup” link on an app to configure it. Go to the Apps tab to view and add additional available print apps.
Now...
I accomplished this on on HP Office Jet Pro 8600 and I now CANNOT on another!
Has this option been "removed" from actually being an option?
If so, please remove from the help documents...
It is very confusing for those of use that want and would benefit from this functionality...
I am like the previous user...
We use scan to email extensively and have to SCROLL all the way to the end to get to it...
I am about to uninstall EVERY app in from of it to get it to the "home"/front screen!!!

Ok,
Not sure how I was able to "rearrange" on my other 8600...
But this is my work around...
If you want "Scan to Email" on the first page of apps...
Just "delete" enough apps to get down to the "six" most used apps...
Then your apps used most will display on the front page...
If there is anyone interested or listening that has a better solution...
Open for suggestions!
Enjoy!
