Hey @printman313,

Welcome to the HP Support Forums!

I would like to assist you today with loading and printing envelopes on your HP Officejet 4632 e-All-in-One Printer. Can I please have you follow the steps below.

Step 1: Load Envelope:

1. Open the paper tray door, and then pull it toward you to extend the paper tray.

2. Gently pull out the paper tray extender, and then lift up the paper catch.

3. Slide the paper width guides to their outermost position.

4. Remove any paper from the paper tray.

5. Load the envelope into the middle of the paper tray, print side down, and with the flap on the left and facing up. Do not load more than 5 envelopes at one time.

Now that your envelope is loaded correctly you can try to print.

Step 2: How to Print Envelopes:

The steps I'm providing below are geared towards a Windows based Operating System running Word.

  1. Open Microsoft Word and click on Mailings at the top
  2. Select 'Envelopes' from the top left hand side
  3. An Envelopes and Labels page should now open. Enter your Delivery and Return Addresses.
  4. Select 'Options' on the bottom right hand side.
  5. Under the 'Envelope Options' tab ensure that your Envelope size is appropriately selected.
  6. Select the 'Printing Options' tab at the top. You now need to select the appropriate Feed Method for your product.
  7. Make sure that you choose the 'Face Down' option.
  8. Also ensure that 'Clockwise Rotation' is selected.
  9. Hit 'OK' and 'print'

I do this, however, every envelope is pulled too quickly and it is crooked and part of the print is off the envelope.  I have wasted too many envelopes trying to get this printer to actually print correctly.  I am frustrated.  I have chosen the middle feed.  I am using WordPerfect instead of Word, however, it is the speed and the printers abilities that seem to be the issue.
