Microsoft Windows 8 (32-bit)

Have downloaded and using HP Creative Photo as suggested. Havewatched all videos and followed all prompts to print 3x5 or smaller sized images onto 4x6 size paper.  e.g. want to end up with  couple wallet size pictures printed onto 4x6 paper, rather than wasting whole sheet of paper for just couple small pictures.  Have been unable to do this with this program.  What am I doing wrong? Or is this simply not possible?

If you are willing to do a bit of simple work to set up what you need, you can do this easily with a couple of programs on your computer:  Paint and Windows Photo Viewer

Note that this first part places your photos into one file so when you use Windows Photo Viewer (or any other program), your combined images file is now essentially "one print" output - choose your paper and print.

  • Open one of the photos in Paint
  • Place your mouse on the right side of the photo and "drag" the background to the right far enough to accomodate another photo
  • Click the bottom of the "Paste" icon in the ribbon > Paste From > navigate to the appropriate folder and select your photo > Paste
  • The photo is now still "active" and sitting on top of your original image >
  • Press and hold the left mouse button > slide the "active" photo to the right and place it in the plain white background area you created earlier
  • Let go of the mouse button and tap elsewhere on the background
  • File > Save-As > select a new name for your "combined" photo page

NOTE:

  • If you misplace the new photo / image or there is not enough room for the placement - simply Click the "Undo" icon to remove the photo
  • Correct any errors in availiable space > Repeat the Paste-from sequence

Next:

  • Open your new "combined" photo file in Windows Photo Viewer
  • Select options, including your Paper Size
  • Once the Paper Size is selected (4X6) the only option is to print the photo full size -- this is fine; you have already done the work to make sure both photos are on the little paper.

General Example:

Print to the 4X6 Photo Tray
