I'm trying to print out a PowerPoint that my teacher has up on our class website. The thing is, the PPT has 45 slides. So, I want to be able to print it in handout format (3 slides per page). With my printer, I don't see the option for PPT handouts. Can anyone help? Thanks!
*Also, When I print out PPT's it comes out backwards. So, instead of printing from the first slide to the last, it prints from the last slide to the first. I'm basically looking athe the pages from bottom up, instead of from top down. Does anyone know how to fix that?*

Hey @Chrisx316,
Welcome to the HP Support Forums!
I understand that you are having some issues with printing Power Point slides from your Windows 10 PC to your Envy 5530 e-All-In-One Printer. I can help you with that.
For the multiple slides option, that is going to be dependent on what the program you are printing from will allow you to do. If the program has the option to print multiple slides per page then you will usually find the option by going to File and then Print or File and then Print Preview. If the program does not have the option then you may need to download and print from a different Power Point viewer and print from that viewer instead.
For printing the document from the front to the back what we're going to do is try and install a driver for a different printer instead. To do so:
- Close all programs you have open.
- Download and run the installer for the Officejet 8600 by clicking on this link.
- Run the installer until it asks you how you would like to connect the printer. When you see this screen, cancel the installer.
- In your search bar type in Printers and open Devices and Printers.
- Click on Add Printer.
- Select your printer from the list.
- When you see the screen asking for you to select the driver, instead of finding the Envy 5530 you are going to look for the Officejet 8600. Select HP on the left and then Officejet 8600 on the right.
- Follow the prompts to add your print queue. Change the name of the queue to something like Envy 5530 (Reverse) or something that will help distinguish it from the original print queue.
At this point you should be able to select to print from Front to Back by going to File, Print, and Preferences before printing.

HI @DocCottle,
The issue isn't so much with printing from to back. What's happening is, when I print PowerPoint slidses, the slides themselves come out in reverse order. So, when I'm looking at the slides on a printed page (this time around I printed 2 slides per page), I would see Slide 2 first, then Slide 1, and so on. So, I end up lookng at things from bottom to top, instead of top to bottom. Is there anyway to fix that?

Yes. That is exactly what I provided directions to you in the first post to fix.
As for the slides being in PDF, you won't be able to adjust how many slides are shown per page, as PDF files are by definition uneditable. The best you can do is adjust the number of pages that print out per sheet of paper. You do that by going to File and Print, and then select the number of pages to print out per sheet.

If your printer is not listed on your PC then that means your printer and router are not communicating. To resolve this:
- Turn the printer off.
- While the printer is turned off, remove the power cord from the back of the router for one minute.
- When the lights return on the router, turn the printer back on.
Now on the printer click on the wireless icon that looks like a radio tower.
If you see a line that says Status: Connected, then the printer should be connected to the network. If it does not say Connected then click on Settings, and Wireless Setup Wizard to connect your printer to your network.
At this point if your printer is still not appearing in the list of networks that means that either the firewall/security settings are too high on your PC or there is a network setting that the printer is having a hard time resolving. If you contact your internet provider or whoever provided you with the router, they can assist you with doing the following:
- Open All ports.
- Enable Multicasting.
- Disable MAC filtering/MAC cloning.
- Disable the Guest Network.
- Make sure the router has a 2.4 GHz (Giga-Hertz) band.
Please let me know if you have any other questions. Otherwise, have a great day!
