I have an HP Deskjet 1512 that I have hooked up and use with my laptop to print and copy. I lost the installation CD that came with it, so I downloaded the software online. The print and copy functions work fine, but I need to know how to scan. I looked at the online manual and tried what it said but it didn't work.
I am using my dad's laptop and I don't know what operating system he has, but I think it's Windows 10.
I looked on the printer control panel and I thought it had a button for scanning, but it doesn't.
Help me figure out how to scan a document, PLEASE!
