I am trying to find out if it is possible to add a date/time stamp header (or footer) to every page printed on an HP Officejet Pro 8500 printer. I was unable to find anything in the User Manual but thought someone might know how to do this.

The way to do that would be to add a header and footer to everthing you print from the program you are printing from.  You can't do it from the printer itself.

Why not?  You should get the development people on that right away.  Especially considering how many printers I've had to buy just to keep up to date with operating system changes.
