Hi @Navin_K,

Thank you for joining the HP Forums!

I understand that you are wondering how to scan multiple pages into one file with your HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 4615 printer. I am happy to look into this for you!

You can save multi-page documents into one PDF file using HP Scan:

  1. Check the following requirements for multi-page scanning:

    • Use a resolution setting of 300 dpi or lower. Click Advanced Settings or More, click Scan, then click the Resolution drop-down menu to change the setting.

    • HP Scan does not support adding multiple JPEG, PNG, or TIF photos into a single file. You must scan photos into a single PDF to save them all in one file.

  2. In HP Scan, use the Save as PDF or Document to File shortcut to scan your document.

    • If you scanned multiple pages from the ADF, click Save. All pages automatically save into a single file.

    • If you scanned from the scanner glass, load the next page or photo on the glass, then click the plus button  or in the HP Scan preview window to scan the next item. Repeat this step until all pages or photos are scanned, then click Save.

Hi Navin_K,

Thank you for your response!

The steps I posted above should have worked. I have some questions for you:

  1. Are you using the HP Scan software or another program?
  2. Are you selecting PDF, or JPG when scanning? (It needs to be PDF for this to work.)
  3. Can you post a screenshot for me to see? How to take and post a screenshot on HP Support Forum.

Once I know the answers to these questions, I will do some further research for you!

If you appreciate my help, please click on the thumbs up icon. Both icons are below this post.

Hope to hear from you soon! 🙂
