How to change Printer Preferences back to one-sided printing?

All answers that I found make reference setting to one-sided in File/Print setting while printing a file.  That's not what I am looking for. I want to set HP Printer Preferences to one-sided. How?

Thanks

Hi,

Please try to set as default:

(a) Double click printer icon on desktop,

(b) Click Set Preferences,

(c) Click Layout tab,

(d) Select Print on both sides: None

(e) Click Apply then OK

Regards.

Sorry, but I must inform you that your suggestion did not reset the Preferences . I did it several times, opening & closing, applying and so forth. Nothing. Still set to Duplex
