:womanhappy:I just bought a HP  Officejet 4632 and would like to know how to get it to print FIRST page first, instead of last page first.

Any help would be greatly appreciated...

First I clicked 'devices & printers' Then I right clicked the printer photo and clicked 'printing preferences' Then the choices came up to choose : HP Officejet J4500 series - HP Deskjet 9800 Printer- HP Officejet 4630 series- Fax-HP Officejet 4630 series.  My printer is HP Officejet 4632. Don't know why it's not listed , but a few nights ago an HP agent was trying to set it up (online) to print 1,2,3,4 instead of 4,2,3,1 and never was successful.

When following your directions I clicked on HP Officejet 4630 and set page order front ot back and clicked Apply at the bottom. I tested the printer and it still printed last page first.  I was told by the HP agent that this particular model couldn't be set to print in any other order without him putting on some other HP printer that WOULD print 1st page first. I figure that's where the different versions came up when I right clicked on printer photo. Does the computer need to be turned off and back on in order for first page first to take effect?

Hello buddyrhonda,

In order to have the first page print first using the HP Officejet 4632, you need to un check the Collate option before you print. I might be able to provide a screen shot if you reply back with the Operating System installed on the computer, Windows or Mac?

Thanks,

The operating system is Windows 7 Home Premium.

Thanks for the reply.

I would like you try this, open Devices and Printers> right click on the 4632> Printing Preferences> AdvancedAdvanced printer options.PNG

Let me know if this has worked 🙂

Usually the computer does not need to be restarted to apply these changes, it would not hurt to try though.

From the list of printers I would assume that they added the Deskjet 9800 for you to print in reverse order. The Officejet 4630 series is your printer, the Officejet 4632 is the exact printer model the "2" would be a store identifier it is sold at for example.

After sending the first question I realized I could make it go 1st page first just by clicking FILE -PRINT-and under PAGE RANGE click CURRENT PAGE.

Thanks a lot for your help....Appreciate it.       Rhonda
