What about the rest of us?!

It's been over a year since I lodged a complaint here, why can't all the printers be fixed with something like a firmware update? What good are individual PMs do for the issue at large?

Jesus **bleep**ing Christ. You guys suck!

I have already once before done this, but without result! I'm sorry to say it, but he support has been useless! Why can't you fix this issue with a firmware update? Everybody seems to have the same problem!

I've just bought a new printer for the office - a Laserjet MFP M426fdn.  EXACTLY THE SAME PROBLEM.

Now I've got endless complaints from the colleagues that the printer doesn't work and how the old Brother printer worked just fine because frankly no-one in the office is going to go through the bother of physically turning the printer off and on again every morning.

The printer is connected via ethernet and it goes into somm kind of sleep mode that it can't wake out of.

So a message for HP:  I've had to swicth to another brand (Canon) instead of the Laserjets I have always bought in the past.  All this because the HP Firmware doesn't get fixed.  Unfortunately until this problem (feature?) is resolved, I have to instruct all offices to reject HP printer purchase requests.

Had the same problem with the LaserJet MFP M277dw at our company.    Many of our orders come in via fax after normal business hours so....we need a solution that works 24/7.

So.....I've decided to buy a Brother printer to avoid having to waste more of my time creating workarounds because the arrogant clueless idiots at HP refuse to fix THEIR problem.    The HP printer will save at LOT of energy going forward because we'll never use it again!

Couldn't agree more. I have M452dw and it does the same thing.

I am in my downstairs and send an item off to pront and I get a printer offline error.

I'm green but I need my printer.

Let the customer decide.

Further there can't be any thing more aggravating then the lam answers given in this forum by the HP people in another country who lack the proper grammatical syntax and sound like parrots.
