Hi,

I am having great difficulty in setting up my printer to the wifi router to enable wireless printing. The WPS button method does not appear to work, after pressing the WPS button my my D-Link 2640-R router, the printer does not recognise and times out.

I have also looked on the admin page for the router to apply the PIN method however I can not find where the PIN would be entered.

I can however connect the printer via USB to my IMAC operating Mavericks 10.9.

Your help is greatly appreciated.

Kind regards,

Dean

Hi there,

Thank you for your assistance, however my printer will not connect using the WPS push button method and I am unable to enter the pin using the alternative method. I have a D-Link 2640R Router.

Previously I connected the pronter to the Wifi network through my Imac using the installation CD however this is not current with Mavericks OS.

Do you have any other ideas?

Much appreciate your help

Regards

Dean

Hello again Dean1983,

I see that you are still having some issues connecting to the WiFi network.

One more step I think we should look into is the the Windows Firewall and if you have any type of Anti-Virus protection installed.  Please disable both of these protection programs and then reattempt to install with the use of the document I have already provided.

Please let me know if you have any other question or you are more than welcome to contact HP's Technical Support to see about further options for you. If you are calling within North America, the number is 1-800-474-6836 and for all other regions, click here: click here.

Thank you once again for your time.

Cheers,   :generic:
