HP ENVY 5530
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

I cannot get the queue to delete a file.  It printed it now I can't print anything else.  It has the printer tied up.  I have rebooted the printer and the computer.  Tried cancelling the job.  Tried pausing the job.....  nothing is working.

Hi @Mscheryl

Welcome to the HP Support Forums!

I see that you're unable to remove print jobs that are stuck in the print queue for your HP Envy 5530 Printer in Windows 10. I would be happy to help you and please remember to return to this thread and mark 'Accept as Solution', if I have successfully helped you resolve the issue. If you wish to say 'thanks' for my effort to help, click the 'thumbs up' to give me a Kudos.

I understand the frustration that you're experiencing. It sounds like resetting the Print Spooler should resolve the problem.

PSDR helps resolve these type of problems. Please download and run the  Print and Scan Doctor, it will likely diagnose and resolve the issue you are experiencing.
What were the results when you ran the Print and Scan Doctor (did it print or scan, any error messages)?

To manually clear the print queue, please try the steps within this guide:
HP Printers - Print Jobs Stuck in Print Queue (Windows): http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c02205477

I hope this helps. Please respond to this post with the result of your troubleshooting. I look forward to hearing from you. Good Luck!  🙂
