Re: I have an HP Officejet Pro 8600 and the touchscreen display panel is very light and cannot read it.  Print, scan and Copy work ok

I had the white screen issue and tried all of the fixes offered here, including calling HP support. I ordered a replacement screen on eBay for $14 used ($45 new) and it now works great! It was a fairly simple part to switch out!

I bought a screen replacement on eBay and swapped it out. It was an easy swap and now works great!

I recently replaced my screen with a used one I bought on eBay. They also sell new ones if you don't want to take the chance. It cost me $14 and was really easy to swap out. Now it is as visible as when it was new!

Hi, I recently replaced my screen with one bought on eBay ($14 used, $45 new) and it works great now. It was really easy to swap out the parts. Well worth it, in my opinion!

I listened to all the advice given by HP with no success... I had a "just out of warranty" printer when the screen went out. SO Frustrating!  HP could not help except offer to sell me a new one at a discounted price.

 

 

You're advice is the best. Thanks  I'll try to find a replacement on ebay and hopefullly I can figure out how to change it out.     THANKS
