Hi @jack1289
I would be more than happy to help you with copying your ID.
1) Touch on the Copy menu.
2) Touch on Settings or the icon. (Pretty sure on the 8620 its the
in the bottom left corner.)
3) Change the ID Copy to On
4) Load your ID face down on the glass, and copy your ID.
For other settings available you could view HP Officejet Pro Printers - Copying Documents
Or the HP Officejet Pro 8610/8620/8630 User Guide
Please let me know if these steps resolved your issue, or if there is anything else I can do to help.
I look forward to hearing from you!
Thanks,

When i set the setting to on, what do i select next. Does it not tell me at some point to turn over the id.
Also as well as copying in to paper, is there a way to scan the id in the same way, i.e. both sides to one page.

Goog evening @jack1289
Thanks for getting back to me!
Same steps as above, but with more details:
- Touch on the Copy menu.
- Touch on Settings or the
icon. (Pretty sure on the 8620 its the
in the bottom left corner.)
- Change the ID Copy to On
- Hit the Back Arrow
- Load your ID face down on the glass
- Start Copy Black or Copy Colour
- It should say something like Scanning Side 1
- When it's complete it should prompt you to flip your ID, and hit Continue
- It should say something like Scanning Side 2
- It should print out on 1 sheet of paper
Hopefully this explains it better. Let me know.
Thanks,
midnight-anwrs
