Can you tell me how you figured the alpha/numeric keyboard?  The D7260 has the touch screen.  I'm having the same problem you said you were able to solve.

I have been reading all the Kudos for the solutions to this problem, but not the solution itself.  After 3 days of obsessing I am ready to tear my hair out!!! I have an HP Photosmart D7460 which does not have a keyboard ..... can some one kindly reprint the solution to this error!  I'd really hate to have this thing end up in a landfill with all its new cartridges!
