How do I install the deskjet 2540 software without a CD? My MacBook Air does not have a CD slot. Is there another way to install? I just bought the computer today.

I see you are looking into driver installation options. I'd love to help with that!

 

You can download the drivers, as opposed to installing from the disc, on the HP web page!

 

  1. Click the link below
  2. Click 'Edit' next to the header that says 'Your operating system: Apple Macintosh, Select version'
  3. Select your Mac operating system
  4. Select Driver-Product Installation Software
  5. Click the download button
  6. Follow the onscreen instructions and install as though you were using the disc
