Hello,
Our small business recently signed up to the Instant Ink monthly plan and we ran out of ink approximately a week ago. We received an email confirming that the Ink is on it's way; however 5 days later it has still not been received and according to the shipping information it's still being transported to the 'country of destination' (which is UK), although that was 3 days ago.
We are a new business and have been left without ink for nearly a week now so we are obviously not happy with this "Instant" Ink plan!
Firstly, it appears to be coming from the Netherlands (Holland) - why?
Secondly, how long should we have to wait between our ink running low and the replacement ink being delivered/received?

Welcome to the HP Support Forums. I understand that you are concerned about your Instant Ink delivery.
The program was designed with the intentions that the ink would arrive before you run out.
You will probably get better results If you contact the Instant Ink department directly.

(indicating your call is about the Instant Ink Program)
Monday - Friday 8:30 a.m. - 6 p.m. (except bank holidays)

I did contact the Instant Ink team who confirmed that the ink can take up to 10 days to be received, as it's being delivered to the UK from Holland. The representative didn't know why it was coming from Holland and I don't know how the ink is ever going to be received before we run out. I'm also not quite sure what is "instant" about the program but they did agree to send me a spare set of ink!

Good to hear that they are sending out spare ink. The servers that monitor ink usage are suppose to send out the ink when it gets low but before it runs out. The computers are also suppose to know when to get the ink in the mail so that it arrives before you run out. Not sure how the math or science behind it really works.

Have similar issues. NO INK, Instant ink sent ONE box for First HP8630, which was returned due to Print Head broken, and this set of cartridges for same model 8630, do NOT regester, there-fore NO PRINT. TWO weeks of searching HP sites have NOT found any solution. Appears to be lack of communication among the various HP sites. EVEN the LET HP ID Unit does not work, or LOAD. Will buy Canon printer for LESS than the HP INK costs.

I have ran out of ink so many time! Right now, HP has posted that it was shipped 15 plus days ago but it has yet to arrive. DO NOT BUY AN HP PRODUCT BECAUSE IT WILL NOT USE STORE BOUGHT INK, YOU MUST SUBSCRIBE TO THEIR INK PROGRAM AND IT IS HORRIBLE!!! I have been trying to contact customer service, phone call does not connect and unable to connect with thei chat program.
