HI, i ran out of ink then replaced the cartridge and an error is showing on printer screen, Intant in problem contact www.instantink.com

The printer will not work as this message keeps appearing.

Hi, I am registered with instant ink and received the cartridge from instant ink as I normally do, the error was there once the ink ran out and before I replaced the cartridge.

Hi, you advised me to have a look at my account as there may be an issue, however i do not have account details and there is no contact details for me to contact to enquiry.

Hi, I am assuming I have an account as i get ink delivered and have monthly amounts taken out, however I have tried to sign in without any luck, i have tried to get a new password reset but unable to do this not sure what is going on .

Hi@TomGar

Do you have an instant ink account?

If yes, check your account status.

If no,  you will need to disable the web services on your printer.

Hello @TomGar,

Thanks for reaching out to the HP Support Forums!

I understand that you installed new cartridges and the printer is telling you to visit "www.instantink.com ". I would be happy to help you and please remember to return to this thread and mark 'Accept as Solution', if I have successfully helped you resolve the issue. If you wish to say 'thanks' for my effort to help, click the 'thumbs up' to give me a Kudos.

It sounds like you may have purchased an Instant Ink Enrollment Kit. That kit comes with Instant Ink cartridges and will not work unless you have an active Instant Ink account.

Where did you purchase the cartridges from?

To confirm, please remove the cartridges and check to see if they say "Instant Ink" on them.  If so, you will need to enroll into Instant Ink to use those cartridges.

Otherwise, please purchase non-Instant Ink cartridges from the retail store.

If you have and Instant Ink account, please send me a private message with your account number or email address and will check your account.

Hello @TomGar,

Thanks for getting back to me. 🙂

If you have an Instant Ink account that message would indicate that there is a billing problem on your account. Please log into your account and update your credit card details.

To update your credit card on the account:
1. Go to www.instantink.com
2. Scroll down the page and select 'Shipping and Billing' tab
3. Within the Shipping and Billing tab, you can edit your billing info. Please be sure that you remove all current billing information and re-enter your credit card number, CVV, and expiration date.
4. Once the card issue has been resolved we will process the missed payments and you should regain your ability to print. Please note this process may take up to 24 hours before your printing ability can be restored.

If you need further assistance, please send me a private message with your account number or email address and will check your account.
