Again, I would recommend downloading the PCL 5 driver from hp.com.

Pelase confirm....Are you seeing this message on the control panel of printer? If so, what exactly does the error message say?

the insufficient printer memory message appears on my computer screen not the printer screen.

When I have problems with a pcl6 driver then I generally try the PCL 5 driver.

And HP wants everybody to use the universal print driver aka UPD.

So I wouldn't download and install the PCL 5 Universal print driver and see if that works.

Sorry those who are trying to help me out! I'm a neophyte and trying to figure this all out?

We have a Dell Inspiron 530 32 Bit O.S.

When we try to print on our HPLaserJet 400M401 PCL 6 printer, we get a message on

the computer screen which reads: Insufficient printer memory?????

Please help!!!!

I am trying to print multiple, collated copies of a 60-page document and the printer tells me that it has insufficient memory. It is fitted with 256Mb internal memory.

Printer :

HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M477fdw

Drivers :

Postscript drivers on Linux Mint

Is there any way around this please?
