Deskjet 3510. Is there a limit to the number of pages to be scanned as one document?

I ask because I had a Kodak All in One that just stopped after I had scanned a lot of pages, and wouldn't continue or save what I has already scanned.

I have some hand written notebooks I'd like to scan and save as PDF files.

Hey wgander,

I do not know of a hard limitation such as a cap to the number of pages in a single scan.  However, there may be such a limitation that I have simply not encountered.

I have scanned documents of 100-150 pages using an Officejet Pro 8600 where I am located, but am not sure if this is of the size range you are meaning.

My best advise is to try and perform a scan of one of the notebooks. If the software maxes out or quits scanning at a certain page count take note of this amount.  You may, then, be able to scan the entire notebook in sections of the max or near max amount and use a 3rd party program to compile the PDF files into a single file.  However, this would be as a backup/workaround option if you do hit a cap.

Let me know if you hit a cap with the scanning as I would be interested to know your findings.

I succcessfully scanned and saved as PDF document 125 pages.

The only problem I had was getting the edges of the pages: I was scanning a composition book and couldn't keep the pages flat on the screen because of the binding.

I have another book to do that I think has more pages but haven't had the patience to sit still for that long.
