This worked for me too, THANKS :smileyhappy:.. First time this has happened to me. I was never too fond of HP products and this has surely sealed their future (demise) for me forever. This is crap when known problems like this exists and they're tooooooo LAZY to try and fix the problem. All THUMBS down for customer and tech support from HP:smileymad:.. This is a crappy way to run a business..

If you can't get it to work by unplugging it for 30 seconds and you are sure you installed the hardware and software according to HP's instructions, then take it back to the store. It will always stop working properly within 12 to 48 hours and need the shut-down process, but it should work temporarily. If not, it's bad and should be returned. There are no other fixes available to any related software or the hardware!
I understand your frustration, but don't lose your sanity over this thing - it ain't worth it - there is nothing you can do about it!!!

Thank you Thank you. I am a total technophobe and havent a clue when it comes to technology (althouh that doesnt stop me from trying) . i have had the printer for about 6 months with no issues so not sure why now. i have unplugged and starting agian !!
