It appears to me that the procedure you show in the private email assumes that the printer has a keypad and display.

 

It has neither.

I don't know what printer documentation you are looking at my 1018 does not have a Go button or the LEDs you refer to in the private message.

 

It only has a power switch and 2 LEDs. They are the Power indicator and an amber Information indicator.

As you mentioned the steps are invalid for your printer.

 

I have checked the records and there is no option to perform NVRAM reset on your printer.

 

You have to contact HP support for service options.
