I am trying to wirelessly update my firmware on my printer. The current Firmware Datecode is 20121026. I have run the Wireless Network Test Report and Network Summary and it shows the printer as connected and on the correct home network. I have no problem printing However, when I go to Check for Updates I get the following message:
Connection Error
The printer is unable to connect to the service. Check the Internet connection.
Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Ok, you got it the second time. Not all the EWS are unified in layout. Makes it hard to stay on top, but you found it. That's good. Still getting the error though. That's not good.
Seems like the printer is being blocked. Have you reset the network?
Turn off the printer and unplug the router for a minute. Then when the network has restored itself try to update the firmware again.
You may have to update the firmware via a USB connection. This link will take you to the printers software and driver page. Software and driver results for: HP LaserJet Pro 200 color MFP M276nw.

Hi @zzyyzx,
Welcome to the HP Support Forums. I understand that when you try to update your printer's firmware you are getting a server connection error. I would like to help.
Chances are the printer is getting lost when it leaves your local network and looks for the HP servers. Setting a manual DNS normally fixes this issue.
You will have to obtain your printers IP address. Type this into the URL/Address bar of a web browser and press go/enter.
This should take you to the printers EWS (Embedded Web Server). From here click on the Network Tab.
On the left-hand column select IPv4 configuration.
Change from IP automatic to IP manual.
down and type the following in the DNS address fields.
Primary : 209.244.0.3
Secondary: 209.244.0.4
Click apply.
It never hurts to turn the printer off then back on.
Try to update the firmware again.
Let me know how this works out, or if you have any questions.

@Aardvark1 Thank you for the reply. I don't have exactly the same options you describe, so I want to make sure I'm in the right area.
I went to the Networking Tab and then IPv4 Configuration on the left side. This is what I saw:
I changed IP Preferred Address Method to Manual and changed the IP Address to 209.244.0.3 and I did not find a secondary to change, nor did I adjust Subnet Mask or Default Gateway.
This did not work (received same error when trying to update firmware after rebooting the printer) and I couldn't access it from my browser, so I went into network settings on the printer itself and returned the IP to 10.0.0.101 and it was accessible again.
Then I did some exploring and found the Network Identification option and found this:
I changed the DNS Primary (IPv4) to 209.244.0.3 Manual and the DNS Secondary (IPv4) to 209.244.0.4 Manual and rebooted the printer. Still received the same error when attempting to update the firmware, so I returned these setting to the above.
Am I doing something wrong? Do you have any other suggestions? Thanks!

I think that last one worked... at least long enough for the printer to check the drivers. I reset the primary and secondary DNS, shut the printer down, shut the router down, and waited about 5 minutes. Turned the router on. Turned the printer on. Presto! It made it to the Update Server and told me nothing was available! I spent some time last night and this morning trying to find HP's official release on the current driver but couldn't find anything (just articles saying to use the update service). Currently my firmware datecode is 20121026. Is this really the most recent?
Also, it was kind of strange. I tried to check again a few minutes ago and got the original error again. If that is the most current driver I guess it doesn't really matter.
Thanks for your help!

Could be a firewall in the router that is stopping the printer from having full internet access.
The date code for the firmware I found is 20150212.
