LaserJet Pro CM1415fnw col MFP

I cannot get the scanner to scan to computer.  When I push the scan button, all that I have an option of is to Scan to USB.  I have tried installing all of the drivers and software.  The printer works fine wirelessly.  I just want to have the option of scanning to a computer or e-mail or something besides having to put it on a USB and then transferring to computer.

I understand that you are looking for some alternatives to scanning on your computer. This printer predates the Scan to Email app on many of HP's more modern printers and as a Laserjet printer it does not have a Scan to Computer option. Your best option for scanning is to initiate scans from your computer.

Ok...how do I initiate the scan from the computer?

To scan from your PC:

 

Click on Start, go to the HP folder, Laserjet CM1410 Series folder, and then open HP Scan.

This program will allow you to scan from your computer. If you do not have this folder or if you see any errors when trying to scan, please let me know.
