Hi @IanGlazier,

I downloaded the firmware for 10.9, just to see what it would show, since there isn't one available for 10.10. It came up as HP Firmware Upgrade Utility-app. I double clicked on it and it loaded the wizard for the Firmware Update. I am not sure why yours is loading 2 icons, one for HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M176-M177 series and  a Documents folder. Unless your downloading the full driver. But again that utility is listed for 10.9 and on 10.10. So I would suggest to run the firmware update on one of the Windows computers.

Please keep me posted. Thank You.

So I finally got fed up enough not having a working printer in the house that I moved the printer over to one of the kids Windows computers, and managed to do the firmware update.  This fixed the issue with the touch screen not working and I am back up and running.

Thanks for the kind and accurate assitance.
