Try this if using MS Word:

Go to your print menu; click the Properties button in the upper right corner; in the Advanced tab (the first tab of the six) under "Document Options" disable "Advanced Printing Features."

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU.  This worked--both from a computer running Office 2010 and the computer the printer is attached to, using Office 2003.  In fact, fixing this on one of the computer on the network fixed the setting on all the computers using this printer.  Even better--it now prints multiple copies from the scanner copier program--HUGE.

Fixed issue by changing Collate option on print screen from Collated to Uncollated.

I am sorry, but to get your issue more exposure I would suggest posting it in the commercial forums since this is a commercial printer. You can do this at http://h30499.www3.hp.com/hpeb/

I hope this helps.

I can't find "Mopier Mode" (do you mean Copier Mode?) anywhere in the HP software.

The REAL fix for me was by someone else below: uncheck the Collate box!  Via File>Print>look over on the right side in the middle for one word by itself: Collate.  There is the pot of gold!  Wow!  Yeah!

Really, with Win 7 out so long and even 8 and an advancement out, such problems should be able to be fixed.

Laserjet 1300 is a beautiful machine and very efficient--possessing all the characteristics for which HP has been famous!

I like it and want to use it--actually, my wife's printer died and I gave her my Laserjet 1300.
