Hi all!   New comer here.

I have a Laserjet 3055 mfp.     My panel displays " Scanner error 3.   Turn off and turn on"

I tried to turn off and turn on but doesn't help?     The panel keep saying "Scan bulb warming"

with the scanner bulb turn on under the glass.   Then without the scanner module moving, the panel will display

"Scanner error 3".   I tried to clean the scanner module glasses with camera quality cleaning paper and it worked

last week.   However after it is turned off and turned on again,  this re-appeared.   I tried to clean it again

but this time with no luck.   Or is this related to the motor?    Please help as this laserjet works very well before and it is

a true waste if this can not be fixed.

Thanks in advance!

Tom

prophecies,

I am sorry, but to get your issue more exposure I would suggest posting it in the commercial forums since this is a commercial printer. You can do this at http://h30499.www3.hp.com/hpeb/ .

I hope this helps.
