I just set up my P1102w and after configuring the network settings, it is working smoothly.

I'm trying to access the web interface to find out how many pages I've printed, but it is asking for a username and password. I really don't know what either is. I have tried out several very likely combinations of what I would have used, but none seem to work.

Is there any way to find out what the un and pw are, without entirely restoring the default settings? Then, I'd have to go back and change all the settings to where I have it now. I can do that, but it would save a lot of time if I could simply reset the un and pw.

I get this request whether I"m accessing it through a wired desktop, or wireless laptop.

This reset will erase all the settings on the printer.

there is no other way that you can just reset the US name and Pssword.

Hi,

you can try doing a reset, but you will have to set it up again on the computer

1. Turn the product off.

2. Turn the product on, and while it is initializing press and hold the cancel button and wireless button at the same time

Hope this helps

Thanks---but to be clear---this process will only reset the username and password, and not simply blast away all my configured settings, correct?

I see.

OK let's go for Plan B. Is there any way I can access my networking options? I'm getting asked for that pesky password. I'd like to write down the IP and other options.

Barring that.... is there any way to download these settings into some type of file, that I can simply then upload after restting?

you can try printing the self test page from the printer and it will have the IP on it.

to print a test page keep holding down the cancel button for 5 sec and it will print the page.

sorry theres no way that you can save the settings and upload them again.
