Is there a linux driver available for the ScanJet G4050? I know there are drivers for the Epson photo scanners, but I have not been able to find one for HP scanners.

 

VueScan software does support it under Linux, but says that "You need to install an HP scanner driver to use this scanner on Windows, Mac OS X and Linux."

I haven't been able to find an HP supplied Linux driver for the scanner.
