My printer was working fine until recently. I don't believe that I made any changes unless there was an update to Windows 10. I have a USB drive installed in the printer. Now there is a several minute delay between printing pages from PDF files. I have not tried printing pages from Word. The "What's  Printing" window shows that the printing is from the USB drive.

The printer is connected via wireless, but this was not a problem until recently. Another printer using the same wireless network has no problem. Since the printer is getting the data from the USB drive, it doesn't seem that the network should be a problem.

USB printing from the printer should not be impacted by Win10 unless the documents you created from Win10 are actually different than before.

Wireless and USB cable connections do not matter if you are troubleshooting USB drive printing directly from the printer.

> Another printer using the same wireless network has no problem.

Meaning that wireless printing works fine?  Thought we were troublehsooting USB drive problems.

Correct.

What you are left with is either a document issue that has updated the version of PDF you are printing, a USB drive failure that is causing delays retrieving the info or some kind of firmware update that you recently accepted since the printer is network connected.

To rule out PDF document problems try to find an old PDF and reprint it.

To rule out problems with firmware print off a configuration page and compare teh firmware info with the latest firmware patches that are availabel from http://support.hp.com.

To rule out USB drive failure issues try a different USB drive.

Let us know what you can find out from there.
