Product: HP deskjet 2544
Operating System: iOS
Hey all. I'm not sure if I'm on the right forum back thanks in advance.
I have a deskjet 2544 photo printer. I know that the password gets printed when you first set it up, and o connected fine etc. But, I accidentally deleted the app (iPhone 5) and it says I have to add the password. I never wrote it down and I lost the sheet with password on it.
Any way of re-printing it or changing it? Thanks.

Hello @Alicia672,
Welcome to the HP support forums.
I understand that you need to find the wireless direct password for you Deskjet 2540.
I would like to help.
When you connect to the printer using wireless direct it automatically is given a password. If you print a information page it will provide the password.
To print the information page, press and hold the Wireless Direct button for more than 3 seconds.
I believe that the following thread has the answer that you are looking for.
If you need anything else, please let me know.
