Just a quick update for those interested. The fix process I followed has remained this far a permanent fix for me. Not sure if this helps anyone or not but in my case this seems to have been a fix that has lasted.

Hi FDOliveira,

This doesn't appear to be an issue caused by the firmware as you have indicated that you can use the printer while connected USB.

Have you tried using a new Ethernet cable from the printer to the router?

What is the make and model of the router you are using?

When you have the Ethernet cable plugged into the printer do you see the activity lights (Lights are Amber green & yellow)?

If you plug the Ethernet cable directly from the printer to your network card on your computer do you experience the same issue?
