I have an HP LaserJet Pro M1212nf MFP and yesterday I tried to install the driver on a Windows Vista PC via the HP official software installation utility. At the end of this procedure, a firmware download automatically started. Now, I'm experiencing the infinite initialization loop and I can not communicate with the printer via both USB and LAN.

Please, can you provide instructions to solve this issue?

Thank you,

Danilo

Hello,

I've been having the exact same error on my M1212nf with the infinite initializing loop. I'd be glad to receive a PM too!

I'm also off warranty and everything worked perfectly until installing the driver package on a new computer.

I have some others M1212nf. Those are working fine.

Is safe to update those to the last firmware (2013-09-30 , Version20130912, 5.82M) ?
